Our History
In 1983, Robert Westmeyer and Joseph Franko founded Quality Assured Label (QAL) with the goal of pushing the envelope of creative solutions for the flexographic-letterpress-, and screen-printed packaging industry. Pioneers in the introduction of hi-speed, UV flexography, Bob and Joe were able to build Quality Assured Label’s business around innovation and have extended QAL’s core capabilities to include: Pressure Sensitive Labels, Roll-Fed Labels, Extended Content Labels (ECLs), Cartons, Blister Cards, and Promotional items. Today, Bob and Joe run QAL with the same principles of innovation. Research & Development efforts are focused around total applied cost reductions for our customers and the extension of our ECL line.

With patented products and processes, our team is ready to help you differentiate your product through packaging innovation and techniques or solve your label challenges. Our 12-color, multi-web presses afford creative opportunities for specialty printing, unique adhesives, and highly-functional multi-page labels.

Your dedicated team will include: Sales Representative, Account Manager, Print Technology Manager, Quality Contact, and Technical Representative.
- Sales Representative Your designated QAL Sales Representative is the main point of contact for overall account performance, pricing and new projects.
- Quality Manager Your Quality contact will work with your quality group for process improvements and superior product delivery.
- Technical Manager Your QAL Print Technology Manager will ensure that your products meet or exceed your project expectations and runs though our plant in a cost effective manner.
- Account Manager Your QAL Account Manager will work with your purchasing, quality, engineering, and graphic personnel to confirm all of your specifications and requirements. Your Account Manager will ensure that all documentation is in place to reproduce your order after initial run.
- Print Tech Manager Your designated QAL Technical Representative tests new projects and will work with your quality and engineering personnel to understand your process and requirements.
