Often called booklet labels, an Extended Content Label (ECL) is a multi-layer, multi-page, resealable labeling solution that provides extra space for important product information without compromising design. The extra content area offered by Pressure Sensitive ECLs is used by brand owners for regulatory information, GHS, multilingual instructions, and marketing content in a secure, user-friendly format. • Hinged Booklet Design: Ensuring all pages stay intact, a permanent hinge may be positioned on any side of the label. This allows the booklet to open on the left, right, top, or bottom.
• Resealable Closure: Positioned opposite the hinge, our resealable closure is engineered to be opened and resealed multiple times, often outlasting the product's lifecycle. 
• Film Construction: All pages of our ECLs are constructed from film materials, offering a thin but robust booklet label.
• Water and Chemical Resistant: Our all-film construction combined with our UV links and coatings ensure your labels are waterproof and chemical resistant.

Base Ply Layer: Base ply layers are white, clear, metalized or coverup material tailor-made to your specific packaging requirements. 

Proprietary Top Ply(s): QAL uses a proprietary BOPP top ply film for the booklet pages. This thin top ply construction allows for more labels per roll, reducing roll change during application and an aesthetically pleasing sleek packaging profile.

  • Clear Front, Wrap Around Option: A unique option for a single-label solution with a labelless look on the front of our container and booklet on the back.  
• Coverup ECL: When you have pre-printed containers and find you need to add additional regulatory content, QAL offers ECLs with block-out features to utilize a pre-printed container. 
• Promotional ECL: QAL booklet pages may be engineered for removable coupons or perforated tear-off promotions. The brand information and use instructions remain intact on packaging after the promo is removed.
